  • Birth - 6 Months

    Your baby is actively enjoying playtime now by watching and absorbing everything, attracted by new shapes, colours and textures. Play involves physical skills and co-ordination.

    Your baby’s becoming a confident little mover – rolling and crawling is on the horizon. Repetitive play, including stacking games, helps them to understand cause and effect and begin to make connections.

    Your toddler will be learning about their world by shaking and banging things and putting them together in piles or towers then knocking them apart!

  • 24 Months - 3 Years

    Your toddler will enjoy playing with other children, in pretend play, singing, and games. They like to copy things that family members do such as cooking!

  • 3 - 5 Years

    By now they will be improving their ball skills, riding a tricycle, using pencils and scissors and drawing. They will be learning to balance on one foot and hop soon!

    Play is an important way for your child to learn. They continue to enjoy and develop skills in skipping, jumping, throwing, kicking and catching balls plus swinging and climbing!
