The World’s Biggest Play Date goes digital
Last year, this pop-up event – the first ever – was held in London, as families came together to create unforgettable memories and enjoy giant versions of our world-famous toys, as well as different types of entertainment. This year, things looked a little bit different because we were in lockdown – but of course, there are no restrictions on imagination! We invited you to join us and the rest of the world for a day packed with exciting activities and larger-than-life play – and you were all over our social channels, sharing how much fun you had!
In the run up to The World’s Biggest Play Date on Saturday May 16th, we launched ‘A little help from Little Tikes’, as part of our commitment to help families enjoy play together – especially at a time when we were confined to our homes and gardens. Throughout May, we shared ideas for creative play for the whole family to get involved in! Magic tricks, science experiments, fruity faces and paper aeroplanes were among the faves. What we got up to on the day
For The World’s Biggest Play Date, we encouraged parents and children to turn their gardens into a big race track for the Cozy Coupe Giant Race – and many of you enjoyed creating your own props to cheer at the finish line and reward your winner on the podium! Some of you turned your garden into a colourful assault course for the Garden Olympics too!
And we loved how many families got on board with our idea to recreate a drive-in movie! A Cozy Coupe, some snacks (you can still download our popcorn bucket template) and their favourite film makes for a winning family film night in our eyes!
