We celebrated the launch of our exciting Little Baby Bum toy range in true ‘twinkle twinkle’ style – with an exclusive breakfast event at world-famous toy store, Hamleys!
We were joined by guests, including Strictly Come Dancing favourites Gemma Atkinson, Gorka Marquez and their little girl Mia, alongside other parenting influencers Me and Mini Me, Quads Against the Odds, Chloe Lauren, Life of Mummies, Nursery Online, Two Dads in London and Rock n Roller Baby. Publications London Evening Standard, Bella, The Sun and The Guardian also attended a fun-packed morning of singing, dancing and playing as the first floor of the London store came to life with colour and the sound of live music filled the room!
The party was a huge success as excited little ones got the chance to be the first to play with our Little Baby Bum collection of toys and meet characters from the series. They clapped, danced and joined in with their favourite nursery rhymes sung by performers of the Little Baby Bum stage show. We also had fun cookie decorating, took silly photos in a 180-degree photo booth and enjoyed soft play. Plus, there was a giant ball pit, a balloon modeller, arts and crafts activities and even a drive-in movie! Phew!
Star-struck at Hamleys
Twinkle the Star and Buster the Bus made a guest appearance and joined in the celebrations at our Hamleys party, as giddy little ones were given the chance to have their photograph taken with the two popular characters. There were beaming smiles all around – especially as adorable baby Mia got to meet Twinkle with mum Gemma.
Gemma, Gorka and Mia, along with all the families that attended, enjoyed a fabulous morning of creative play and singing and dancing. And we created memories to last a lifetime!
Encouraging their love for music
Little Baby Bum began its hugely successful journey on YouTube when it first aired in 2011. The Nursery Rhyme Friends present traditional nursery rhymes and original songs in a series of short animated videos. It’s had 35 billion views on YouTube alone but also features on other popular streaming platforms. If our social media channels are anything to go by, Baa Baa the Sheep and co have already won the hearts of your little ones. Many of you have told us your mini Little Baby Bum fans won’t watch anything else and the series’ cute characters have helped them learn to count!
